Ben (Kato) born 1997
Ben’s family disintegrated due to domestic violence and the mother was single handedly looking after 5 children. Because of abject poverty, she could not afford to educate her children alongside footing house rent bills for a single room.
Ben joined KSEM through a friend of Daniel’s.

Joseph born 1995
Joseph lost his mother while 3 months old and the father died when he was 11 years old. Joseph has been under the care of his paternal grandmother who sells bread in the new taxi park.
He joined the orphanage home with the help of Coach Ivan who picked him because of his tremendous enthusiasm in football.
Joseph says he feels good about being with new friends at the home and looks forward to becoming a famous footballer.

Kenny
Kenny born 1995 lost his father at the age of 5 and left him under the care of his dear mother who is unemployed and therefore was striving hard to raise money for his school fees. Kenny was frequently sent away from school due to the failure of paying fees, Daniel bought him to the orphanage home after realising how talented he is in football.
He has four brothers and one sister.

Mohamid born 1997
Mohamed's mother divorced with his father and left him at the age of 11 leaving him under the care of his step mother who treated him brutally (Denise saw his burns on his body when she was there). Because of the harsh treatment, Mohamed ran away from home during the holidays and came with Shafik Semyalo to the kids at the orphanage who had gone to visit his sick mother. |
